‘Gatorland Heights’ Campaign

Scroll

This collection consisted of 75 t-shirts, all featuring the base print “Gatorland Heights Phys. Ed.”, deriving from a fabricated high school I had created. All tees feature one of three graffiti graphics strategically printed differently on each shirt. Because of this, every shirt was a 1/1 product, leading to more overall sales.

The film portrays the hypothetical “Gatorland Heights” gym class, with Steven Parks as a careless, arrogant gym teacher who relishes in his life from the late 80s. This is why the students decide to sporadically write their names in colorful graffiti, never directly in the designated name box on the shirt; A retaliation to Mr. Parks.

I had a booth at the Streetwear Flea in Columbus where I furthered the cohesive-ness of the collection by wearing the Steven Parks getup and setting the scene of an indoor gym class with hardwood flooring, uniformed students, musty blue lockers, and a ton of miscellaneous sporting goods.
